History in Motion: Deeply Rooted at 20

Center Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie

Saturday, February 4, 2017, 6:30-7:15PM

FREE and OPEN to the public

As part of an ongoing series, Chicago Dance History Project is excited to bring History in Motion to North Shore Center for the Performing Arts to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Deeply Rooted Dance Theater with a pre-performance panel discussion. History in Motion: Deeply Rooted at 20 brings together the company’s co-founders, Kevin Iega Jeff and Gary Abbott, and the dance education director, Nicole Clarke-Springer. This discussion will reflect on DRDT’s challenges and milestones throughout its first 20 years, how its work has developed as a result, and the company’s future trajectory.

Admission is free, but please visit the Facebook event page to RSVP.

Tickets for DRDT’s performance following the panel can be purchased here.
