LARRY IPPEL

The ad said “Looking for a male dancer over 6 feet tall- new company forming!

I got out of my sick bed and got the job.”

A brief interview at CDHP's pilot Interview Marathon

Larry Ippel began his dance training as a college athlete at Illinois State University. In the early 1970s, he joined the Academy of Movement and Music in Oak Park, IL as a teacher and founding member of Momenta, an all-inclusive movement company based within the academy. Ippel retired from teaching as well as performing in 2014.
