Patricia Barretto was born in Mumbai, India, but spent the majority of her adult life in North America. A career arts administrator, she enjoyed tenures with Toronto Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Conservatory, and Opera Atelier before coming to the Harris Theater for Music and Dance as its VP of marketing and communications in 2015. She became its President and CEO in 2017 and facilitated the Chicago premieres of international dance companies such as English National Ballet, Bangarra Dance Theatre, and Tanztheater Wuppertal/Pina Bausch.
